False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs start off at NCV level two plus the minimum prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, remaining equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two that is equivalent to an NQF level two.
